Daughter update.

My daughter is 25+5 cervix at 25+2 was 1.2mm so a bit better than the week before when it was .8/.9mm but this is only classed as remaining stable. Next cervix scan and growth scan on Wednesday 26+2. She is coping with strict bedrest so far and hopefully will have many more weeks to go on it. Reading stories I have shown her from here is making her feel positive.

Sounds like she is hanging in there. At 28 weeks I had shortened from 5 to 2.5 in about a week. The doc put me on modified bedrest...I put myself on strict bedrest. The next week, I went back and I had lengthened back to 4! Bedrest does work!! I remained on strict bedrest until I delivered. I was too scared to get up! Bedrest is not easy...sounds like you are a great support to her! Way to go Grandma!

 

Glad to hear that things are stable. I have been thinking of her since your last post. Each day is a victory!!!

 

Glad to hear she is stable! Glad we are helping her remain positive! We have soo many members who have some changes happening early on then end up being induced. Anything is possible and the fact she has gone a week is huge! Talk to you next week !

 

She is very lucky to have a mom looking out for her so she can look out for her own kids! Like one of the previous posters mentioned, the cervix can length, too. I hope hers does just that and she delivers these babies when they have a better chance of avoiding a huge NICU stay.
