Daughter pregnant with twins-blood in urine

My daughter will be 12 weeks pregnant with twins on Feb. 19. She actually has an appointment with OB-GYN that day. She noticed that her urine appeared to be pink on Saturday. Last night when she wiped after urinating it was pink again and she has minor irration after urinating. She has gone to the doctor now to get it checked out. I could not get off work nor could her husband to go with her. So she is by herself. Please for those of you who don't mind keep them in your prayers. Hopefully this is just a urinary tract infection that can be treated with antibiotics. Our entire family is extremely nervous due to the Blighted Ovum she suffered last June. I can't imagine how scared she is right now. Anyone else had any similar experience?

 

I will definitely be praying for your daughter. With the other symptoms, it does sound like a UTI. I had a miscarriage before our first son was born - then when I was pregnant with him I had some slight bleeding. It turned out to be nothing, but it was scary. Best to you all for healthy babies!

I agree with pp's about a possible UTI. They are in my thoughts.

 

I do hope she is ok! I had the same thing happen and it was shortly followed by a lot of pain, ended up being kidney stones. Sounds like it could also be a UTI, you all are in my prayers!

 

Quick Update: My daughter just called and she and babies are ok. They think she has a possible yeast infection and she does have some bacteria in her urine. The nurse said you are supposed to have some bacteria. They did give her two prescriptions and told her not to take one until she was 14 weeks pregnant. They done an abdominal ultrasound and babies are fine. Heartrates are 174 & 179. Thank You for all the thoughts, and prayers. Please continue to remember them.
