Dani update

Geesh I just got back to the board and I have to make it quick as my break is almost over!
Friday the 22 I got put on Labetalol for my blood pressure (it's not going down very well at all) and I was put on bed rest. Bedrest with a 3 year old who doesn't nap is a big fat joke. I stop at the computer on my potty breaks.
Twice aweek appointments now and back to the Peri next week for a growth scan.
Did a sono on friday and saw the circle of babies. They are head to head with one breech (my girl) one vertex (boy). They are such little movers! In just walking across the hall from the sono room to the NST chair we had a **** of a time finding them. I am having lots of contractions that I am not feeling and that is not good.
Hoping to hold them in for a few more weeks, luckily my cervix is doing nothing despite my daughters constant ramming on it!

Oh yeah, and now I am on Protonix for the lovely reflux. Gee if only I could sleep now!

MIL is in Florida for another week. Then I will have help next week. Sad to say there is alot of TV and Video watching going on here. It is nice that when packages come they have been filled with tan butcher paper, thanks Target! It is great for coloring on and tracing little girls bodies out. And with her little kid scissors she cuts and cuts and is delighted.

 

hang in there! one more week before MIL comes gotta love the endless run of vidoes and tv!

 

My little one has been watching a lot of tv too. Oh well. I feel like I better get used to it because once I have the twins she'll probably be watching just as much. Glad you'll have help next week.

 

That same thing happened to me. They put me on the monitors and asked if I was having contractions and I said no and they said, well Yes you are! I said I felt tightening when they moved and sure enough that was a contraction. It is hard to describe as it is different for everyone.

Sounds like you have a good team watching out for you.

Oh and I remember horrible reflux and heartburn. Even hurt to drink water. I slept upright for 6 weeks. Hang in there, you are almost there!

 

I realized the other day that at about 2 or 3 all my girls watched a lot of tv and videos because I was pg with the next one and so tired. How sad is that? :blush:
