Jack is getting his canine (fang :) ) teeth. They are worse than molars! We have been lucky in that teething is generally a blip, but he's been so miserable with these teeth. The bottom ones especially - he got all 4 within a few days. Is it common for these to be particularly painful? I'm trying to figure out if he's getting sick or something.

 Yep, with each tooth that Evan gets, it seems it is harder each time!

:gah: I hated teething!! My ds was a mess with each and every tooth he got. :( I hope his pain goes away soon and he gets comfortable again.

Those teeth have been torturing Jacob for a solid month, at least. They are slowly coming in, and his poor gums are SO swollen. His personality changed overnight when it started, and he hasn't reverted back to his sweet and calm self yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it really is "just" teeth with your little guy.

    to all of you!

Teething is awful, I cannot wait for mine to be done with it. The fang teeth were the hardest for my son (he's still working on 2nd year molars) and my DD is having a bit of trouble with them too. Big

Well, glad to hear it is normal. Poor little babies. :( Jack is always so happy and easy too that whenever he is upset and crying it just breaks my heart. :(

I know...it is so hard to see them suffer with it and know we can do what we can to take the pain away but we don't always succeed. I wish teething was painless!

The "fangs" have been the worst for us too. Ryan didn't bat an eyelash for the molars or any other tooth, but these were really hard on him. Poor Jake has a hard enough time teething, but these just keep popping in and out. One day I think they are coming in, the next they aren't. I think he's used an entire bottle of Motrin this month. Hope all the teeth come in quickly for him!

Mine are working on their "fangs" too. And it has been awful!! Even more whining and crying and clinging that usual. I feel so sorry for them. :(
