cute interactions

Hi there. My twins just turned one on Jan. 28th and I'm starting to see so many cute little interactions between the two of them. For instance, they love to hold hands while they are sitting in their high chairs. Another example is that today Rachael crawled over to Sarah, grabbed her pulled herself up on her (literally) and then kissed her twice on the head. Rachael is very "rough and tumble" and Sarah is milder in her behavior.....so many time Rachael will just be crawling all over her (and she is not very gentle)....but Sarah just laughs and laughs while she does it. It's so funny. She almost eggs her on! It's so amazing to see two children so young interacting in this way (hugging, kissing)....they know each other so well, they love each other already....sometimes they are ready to tear each other's faces off, but most of the time you can just see this bond growing...it's so cool. I haven't really been thinking about this aspect of having twins because I've been so busy just trying to survive the first year, so I have to say I'm really enjoying these interactions. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.

I agree, this is just the best age. Yes, they have some toddler angst and fight over toys, but seeing them learn to share and show affection toward one another makes it SOOOO worth it. This morning both of my boys were sitting on my lap for a story before I left for work, and Jack laid his head on Nate's shoulder for a cuddle. :wub:
