both of my girls have got a bit of curl in their hair, but one of them is more prone to the frizzies as soon as it dries from a bath. i know from back in the 90's when i used to have a perm, lol, i used gel or mousse after showering to keep away the frizzies, but with babies, is it different? can anyone recommend something to put on her hair to keep the cute curls? i already use spray detangler but that doesn't help.

I don't have curly haired kids (they don't have enough hair to be curly yet) but I have naturally curly hair. I saw this product line recommended on a Mom blog for kids (not sure if this will help you or not)

Is it really long? If not, I found that putting baby lotion/cream in my dd's hair helped with the frizzies (and it smelled SO good) but that was only good while it was shorter. :good:

This product is wonderful. I use this for both my boys; it made an immediate difference. If your daughter has the stereotypical white people curly hair, you can use the ring around the curlies leave in creme, and the patty cake conditioner. That's what I use on Mark's hair.

I use J&J two-in-one no more tears shampoo for curly hair (green bottle). That plus the leave-in detangler keeps Ana's long curls from frizzing, and Meara's waves shiney.

I started using conditioner on them in the bath at around 1 year (when they had enough hair to tangle). I use the same Pantene Healthy Curls on them that I use on myself.

Are you washing their hair every day? If you are try cutting it back to once or twice a week and see if that makes a difference. Using a conditioner (if you aren't already) might help too, or using a leave-in conditioner. You could also check out Naturally Curly, they have some good tips and a section on kids hair and kids hair products.
