The only reason I am posting this is because it has been so long since I have felt a numbing feeling by my scar. Just these past two days though, the numbing wierd feeling is back. Have any of you been fine and then have the feeling come back?

I still have parts of it that are sorta numb. I guess I just quit feeling it after a while, but every time a post like this comes up I tend to check it. I am sure they probably severed something in there..... :hug99: I hope it's not too creepy feeling. If you really think it's out of the ordinary, see your doc!!

Dh went to hug me yesterday and I jumped back so fast because I was so shocked to feel what I felt! He was also chocked to see me jump bakc as far as I did before knowing my reason for doing so!

I have had that numb feeling since I had the c/s. I thought it was normal. Now I'm worried it isn't? Now why did you jump back? What did you feel if it was numb?

Mine isn't really numb, but there is one spot that doesn't really feel right. But then I have this lovely overhang of twin baby stuff left still, so I don't normally feel it. I haven't really had any tingles or anything from the incision, though.

My numbness/weird feeling comes and goes still, I think it's normal! Or we are both weird....

I have numbness too and every now and then it feels "different". I wouldn't say tingling, but definitely not normal. My two bff's had c-sections (17, 8, and 4 years ago) and they say the feeling is STILL there. :(

Yup, my funny sensation comes and goes too. I do tend to notice it more around the time of my period too, not sure if everything is just more sensitive or what?

My mom's got a rather large scar on her head from brain surgery 4 years ago and she says her's still feels funny too.

my dh had surgery on both sides of his head over 8 years ago and his scars also still feel numb/weird to him.

My c/s scar doesn't bother me one way or the other,... but it's always been extremely thin and low, so I don't know if I'd notice if it were numb anyway.

Yes!!! Every once in a while I will not feel anything on my lower half near the scar. I will pinch right below my belly button and not be able to feel it...then, other days I that sensation is gone. So weird!

2 c-sections for me and the whole area is numb near the scar. Doc said nerve ending are gone....I guess he means disconnected. Its normal though. Some have more numbness then others. I cannot feel a thing about a hand length below my belly button. Its weird.
