It could be agitated from the water (the rash) but I have eczema and it usually is soothed from warm water. It could be that suddenly she is not liking baths. Both of my twins went through that a few times. Hope she is ok. :hug99:

You could try Aveeno oatmeal bath and see if that helps. One of our boys had really bad diaper rash after a bout of diarrhea last week and it hurt him to even touch it, but he loved being in an oatmeal bath. If that doesn't help, then at least you can be sure it's not the rash that's causing her to not like the bath.

My dd went through that for about three weeks. She had loved the bath, loved to splash, the whole bit. Then all of the sudden, she started screaming when i put her in the water, every time. It stopped as suddenly as it started. She just laughed and played like nothing was ever wrong. Go figure...
We never did figure out what was wrong. But it never happened again either.

When mine get pretty bad diaper rash they very much hesitate sitting in the bath, I normally have to coax them into sitting and relaxing and then it usually feels better on their bums.

My daughter just had TERRIBLE diaper rash and didn't want to sit in the bathtub. She would fight me to get her out. Now that her rash is gone she is back to her old self again loving to sit in the tub.

One of my boys has eczema. I was told by the doc to put Aveeno oil (for adults) into the water to keep him hydrated and also to use only slightly warm water (very warm water is dehydrating). My other son developed a fear of the bath for some reason around 7 months (no idea why) so I bathed with him for a few nights to get him comfortable in there again. Worked well.
