Cribs from JC Pennys?

Hi,

I am wondering if anybody purchased their crib(s) from JC Pennys. Since there is no way to see the actual product before purchase, I was hoping to get feedback about the quality of the cribs. I'd hate to purchase two of their convertible cribs and then end up disappointed with the craftsmanship, etc.!

Anyone with input?

 

Hi. We got all our boys furniture from Penney's. I too wish I could have seen it beforehand, but in the end I liked it. We got 2 convertible cribs, 2 five dresser drawers, and a changing tower/hutch from them. Personally-I didn't think you could beat their prices. We got the whole set as a gift, but I didn't want someone spending $500 on a crib-and we needed 2! We're only 4 months into it...but we like them. The one problem is EVERYTHING had to be assembled.... And the drawer handles seem to be loose, but to me that's minor. Here are pics of their nursery....

Our cribs are also from Penney's, and I'm pleased with them. The quality isn't quite as good as a previous crib we had from BRU (can't remember the brand), but they're perfectly nice and functional. The drop side is smooth and quiet.

Assembly was pretty standard.

I had them delivered to a local store, because it was a lot cheaper than having them sent to our house. The two crib boxes *barely* fit in the back of my Odyssey with the seats removed.

Ours were from Penneys and I also have a changing table, dresser, tower. I was pleased with them all esp. for the price. I don't have a picture available though.

I just wanted to say, AWESOME nursery. That is really cool! I bet the babies love it!
