Does anyone have the stackable cribs? We're looking for something for the twins' new room, and all the stackable cribs we've looked at remind us of pet stores. Their room is going to be a teeny tiny 9x9 with the closet built into the room. Any helpful suggestions would be great. Also- advice on how to do the move smoothly would be wonderful. Thanks.

Hmmmm....I too tend to think that they look like cages. Do you have an Ikea near you? They have some smaller cribs there that are meant for small spaces. We also have at my mom's house a small crib (that has a Pack-N-Play sized mattress) that the kids still sleep in. I would rather go with one of those options, than the stackable cribs.

when we moved we kept the kids at my parents the day of the move and came back to get them the next day when their room was all set up.....the transition went smoothly.

My babies love to stand up in their cribs. I'm not sure that there would be enough room for standing in the stackable ones (one I looked at online said the bottom crib only had 26 inches of headroom). They may not be big enough to be a long term solution. Would any of those extra thin, space saver cribs work in the space you have?

I hope we can find a small crib. As for leaving the kids with the folks, my Mom is flying out to watch them during the move and help my oldest get adjusted to a new school. I'll have to check out Ikea, but their store is so big and busier than a mall on a Saturday.
