I still havent tracked down a crib tent anywhere and I am just about ready to order one online.
I do have a question though. I am seeing 2 different types of crib tents
    this one http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?p...rentPage=search
    and this one
    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4726174

at an almost $30 price difference does the cheaper one work just as good?
I am just not sure if the one that only covers the top would honestly keep my acrobat in.
Anyone use the one that just goes over top and have any luck with it?

I have the crib tent that only goes on top and hooks on both ends of the cribs. I love it, and I also have one who frequently got her legs stuck. Not anymore though. The full one, would keep them in and keep their pacifiers, or toys in, however, the top ones have been just fine for us. No problems here, except for when they start putting their fingers through the mesh and making holes.

    Good luck!

We actually had both. I would go for the Toys R Us one, it is easier to deal with--it is anchored by the mattress, so they can't get between it and the crib.

I have the full surround type and I think it's worth the extra $30. My guys can undo zippers already. I'm certain they would reach between the slats to pull at the zipper and then we'd have to take extra steps each time we closed the tent to try to secure the end. That's a hassle that's worth $30 to avoid.

We also use and love the one that goes under the mattress.
Beau can un zip his, so we safety pin it at night, there's no way one that only sits on top would keep him in.

I had the older version that only attached to the top of the crib, and we never had a problem. Jack didn't figure out how to unzip it, and I just can't see how the kid could get stuck between the tent and crib. There was no wiggle room betwen the top of the crib rail and the bottom of the tent.

I bought the Walmart cheaper (earlier version) one and they work just perfect. The boys have been using them for about two months now and they haven't figured out how to unzip it. I never knew they could do that, and need to go home and figure it out. Speaking of getting stuck in between the tent and the top of the side rail. That is impossible if you fasten all five velcos on each side. These velcos are super strong, and it took me a while to fasten all of them. It is easy to change sheet too, because the tent is a dome shape, you could drop the rail and the dome is flexible enough to be lowered. I don't know if the later model will allow for easy sheet change.

We have the inside surround type, and are very happy with them. We did have a little trouble with hooking it up to our convertible crib because of it's shape. My husband figured it out somehow. One of the girls did put a hole in it, but just a small one and hasn't bothered with it since. Our other figured out how to open the zipper from the inside and now we have a small plastic clamp on it. She's the curious one of the two and the reason we got the tents in the first place. You never know how they are going to react when you get the tent either. We thought maybe it would bother them to be "trapped", but when Lindsey saw that Carolyn had one, she wanted one too.

The only thing I don't like is having to open the zipper after they are asleep if I want to cover them with their blankets.

    Good luck with it!

We had the Originals and had no problem with them (we did have to do the safety pin thing when they figured out how to unzip from the inside). I became a master at fixing the blanket through the rails, something I wouldn't have been able to do with the Cozy II.

Thanks for your help everyone! We went to BRU tonight and found the II one. It took a few minutes to set up and velcro it but it's perfect. I had to do something because she wouldn't even stay in her bed long enough for me to go potty alone. She has mastered climbing out of bed it is truly funny how precise she is but I am so afraid she'd get up during the night.
At least now manye I can sleep more soundly and not worry as much. DH also bought some doorknob covers since she has perfected the art of opening doors [IMG] My 5 yr old can't even open them [IMG]
We put one on the door leaving our room since it's at the top of stairs. Only problem is no one can lock and unlock them but me since I have nails. I guess we'll have to just take them off when the twins go to sleep.
