crib tent or toddler bed

sophia keeps climbing out of her crib..and when she does stay in she headbangs and screams until she hurts herself and has to come into my bed.. my ped recommended to put them in toddler beds at this pt b/c htey can climb etc.. . someone else suggested the crib tent..sophia can and has no problem getting up and down from my bed etc.. but if i put her in a toddler bed how do i get her to actually stay there .. lexie is no problem..she still oges to sleep 7pm and wakes up 730 am in her crib no attempt to ge tout.. HELPPPPPPPPP

 

I would do a crib tent.

 

I just did the crib tent at 23 months when my son was in the hallway at 4am...I know my kids will not stay in a toddler bed yet there's no way and frankly, I need to sleep too. It's been two weeks with no problems and I know they are safe and cannot get out and cannot fall down my steps which are right outside their door. I plan to have them in their cribs for awhile longer.

 

I would do a crib tent ... toddler beds can be a pain and make things way more stressful

 

My kids just got there toddler beds but they are 26months old so at that age I would try crib tents.

 

I wish I would have done crib tents. I just transitioned both of mine to toddler beds because they were climbing out of their cribs. It has been horrible--pretty much no naps (because my dd wakes ds up once he's a sleep) and they're waking up in the morning about an hour to an hour and a half earlier than when they were still in cribs.

I would really like to seperate them during naps but we really lack the space in our house to do it and dh doesn't think it would work and only make the problem worse.
