Do you have a favorite sheet saver or something water resistant (that is not vinyl-y or synthetic smelling) that you can put on top of the crib sheet, under your newborn babe??

What have you found that works - any tips or tricks - to not have to change/wash the sheets all the time??

    TIA :give_rose:

When mine was really small and not rolling, I just used a folded (so it was 3-4 layers thick) receiving blanket, so I would just have to change that.

I just got something called a Deluxe Sheet Saver by Koala Baby at Babies 'R Us. They had several different colors and is super soft to touch. It also ties to the slats of the crib to stay in place. Have also seen them at Target.

Yep- Sheet Savers. They are specifically made for that purpose. I have the deluxe Koala ones and they are great for spit ups and such. Just as pp said, they tie to the slats, so they don't move around and are super soft.

Hey y'all, thanks for the responses!

My poor brain is shutting down for all decision making, small and large, and info processing. I usually shop on Amazon.com for everything and am finding that, unless I know exactly what I want or need, I get sucked into reading the millions of reviews for each item. Then after I read the reviews, I have to check out the '27% of people ended up buying this' item. Ridiculous, but here I am.

Now I am going to Target and will look for those Koalas and more receiving blankets!

I used receiving blankets under them. that way when they spit up I would just change the receiving blanket.
