crib bumpers

I am currently using the breathable bumpers on both cribs. Dd does fine with them. Ds on the other hand always gets his leg above the bumper and through the crib bars. He then screams to let me know. I have other bumpers for the cribs. His are kinda fluffy though. He's 8 mos. old now. Is it safe to use the old bumpers? Will it even solve my problem? I know there has got to be another mom out there with a little monkey like mine too. Any advice or solutions? Thanks

 

I also started out with the breathable bumpers and then I switched to the regular bumpers once I was confident they could get themselves out if they happnened to get stuck. There's no guarantee it will solve your problem, but you could always give it a try. Good Luck!

 

I used the regular bumpers and we didn't have any problems. I did have one baby who liked to rest her feet on top of the bumper but she didn't put it through the crib bars.

 

I also used the regular bumpers and have not had any problems.

Good to hear. I put the bumpers on his crib. Like I said though, they are the bigger, fluffier ones. I think I'll be checking on him a lot tonight. I'm a little nervous, but I hope it works! Anyone else have the fluffy bumpers? Dd has the thinner ones. I didn't know any better when I bought them. These are my first babies.

 

We still use the regular bumpers. Derek got his feet stuck a couple of times and then never again. I hope it helps with the issue.
