Crazy kids

I cannot figure out how to calm our kids down before bed. They get so revved up and get so crazy that bedtime, even after our spongebath calming routine, is becoming more and more difficult. Their last nap ends around 3:45 for Lily and 4:30 for Jack and we start routine (bottle, sponge bath) around 6:45/7 and everyone is in bed by 7:30 at which point the cry until they fall asleep and STTN to 7:30am. It seems they have figured out how to make everything a game and even the bottle has become play time somehow.

SO, DH and I decided last night that we were going to make sure that Jack and Lily did not get too excited before bed last night and, this is what happened....

....looks like we lost control, yet again! Hopefully you can tell by the pictures but Jack was sprinting around the toy and Lily was half pushing him, half hanging on for dear life. We got video of it as well as they were laughing and giggling and hysterically

Amy, OMG, they look like they are having a BLAST! :lol: I know that doesn't help you out when you are trying to get them down for bed, but look at the smiles on their faces!! :wub: So cute! Good luck tonight. :hug99:

I love the look of that exersaucer -- mine aren't even pulling up yet, so I wonder if it's too late to get it now? Hmm....
