cramping

how normal is light cramping at 30 weeks?

 

Cramping could possibly be Braxton Hicks. I had cramping with my singleton towards the end. I rarely if ever had the type of braxton hicks that you feel your stomach tighten up.

You may want to call your doctor though and let them know... they may want to check you out to make sure nothing is changing and your not in PTL.

 

my stomach was tightening up a lot yesterday. i posted yesterday bc i was nervous. my cervix shortenend a little and i was having contractions so they told me to lay down and drink water.
i've already drank a liter this morning and go to the doctor in about an hour.

I've been having cramping the last week or so and my dr's are telling me its ok at this stage as long as there not happening consistantly on a pattern with a few in an hour.

I'd call the dr. and mention it, my dr. checked me out and my cervix was closed so that's probly why its normal in my case, your Dr. will probly want to check you out and make sure your not in preterm labor.

Drink plenty of water & lay down for a while.... they should subside

 

Every pregnancy is different for every single person, so I really don't think there is a baseline for this type of thing. If you are at all concerned, call your Dr. Good Luck!
