It is tough to carry twins, even early on. I had a lot of cramps in the beginning with no bleeding and the dr. said the same thing..as long as I wasn't bleeding. She explained that my uterus was growing to accomodate 2 babies even this early on and if my period was to come at this time if I wasn't pregnant that could cause it too. My friend is almost due but she had them the whole time, she wound up having a fibroid though.

Just log it and when you get these pains, try to relax with some water and put your feet up. Sometimes your body is just trying to tell you to take it easy.

i had several cramps throughout my entire pregnancy with the twins, even spotted a couple times. Its mainly your ligaments and uterus stretching and because its twins it all happens alot faster to you body is trying to prepare for it. I think it is ok and normal as long as its not followed by alot of bleeding. good luck im sure you are fine ;o)

It's definitely normal and as pp said, Relax, put your feet up and drink lots of water. Hope you are feeling better!

I'm also glad to hear this. I've had terrible cramps from the start, and though my doctors have all told me it's normal, it's nice to hear it from BTDT veterans. :)
