    Hi!

I've had some pretty strong cramping on my right side this morning, which radiates to my middle abd. also has some "pinching" with it.

I could just be paranoid...I haven't felt right for the last couple of days, but nothing I can put my finger on. I can't tell if normal pregnancy sxs, or something else. I've only gained about 6lbs, but it looks like I've gained about 20, I just feel so heavy.

My back hurts and my right shoulder blade is driving me NUTS! feels like a muscle cramp, I've had a massage and went to the chiropractor, these helped a bit, but it's really uncomfortable.

Last couple of days I've been really tired! I've had swelling in my left ankle by the end of the day and when I press on it for 10 seconds the 'hole' doesn't go away for like 25-30seconds. My last appt my blood pressure was high..but just for me, it was 130/70...not a biggie, but I'm normally 107/60 ish...my ferritin levels have been super high for the last 3mths and noone can seem to explain why.

I have my u/s next wed...should I wait until then?

I feel so stupid for even typing this...is anything that can go majorly wrong at 17wks??

    sorry for my whiny ramble!

I think that it is NEVER stupid to take yourself in if you are concerned. My doc said you're really not in the "clear" until after 20 weeks (not to worry you!!!) I would, if I were you. I hope you get relief soon!

I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy. I've been having a lot of the crampy/pinchy feelings and my doctor's nurse line said that it sounded like growing pains - which if my massive hip pain is any indication I would say they are right because WOW - I think I'm having another growth spurt. I'm not sure about the ferritin levels as I have NO clue what that is. BUT what does concern me is the swelling where the indentation is not going away. I'd definitely call the DR and let them know how you've been feeling and see if they want you to come in to take a look. I wouldn't want to take any chances. Drink lots of water, lay down and rest, and keep me updated!!!

Never ever feel like any concern you have is too whiny or small to call your doctor!! I imagine things are fine but it never hurts to know for sure exactly what is going on - the less you worry the better everything is all the way around!!

    You are not whining!!!
I am one of those people that call the dr. for every little thing, so that would be my first thing to tell you :) that is what they are there for! (no matter how small of a deal you think it is!)
I agree w/ the pp, get lots of rest & drink lots of water - hope you feel better soon!!!

Please go to the emergency room immediately. It could be Hellp syndrome. Especially with your symptoms of pitting edema, high blood pressure, and right side stomach pain.

I hate to alarm you, and I hope that it is nothing, but please get it checked right away.

What did you end up doing? Did you call your OB, go to the ER? :hug99:

Thanks for your support guys!! I did call the nurse this morning and she said she didn't "hear" anything alarming with what I was telling her. but to make sure i wasn't spotting or increase in discharge. The pain has stopped, around 11am this morning and I feel a little better. But I tell you I can't wait for my dr's appt on Wed!!

If this happens again, I'm going to make them see me!! Thanks again everyone, sometimes it's just nice to hear your not crazy...even from people you don't know! THANKS!!!

Glad to hear everything is ok, but definitely don't hesitate in calling your ob if you're ever concerned- it's why they make the big bucks!! And it's their job to make sure you and babies are ok... Take care!! :)
