Just a recommendation because I've found great deals on there (including 2 more today :) )! You should really check it out once in a while if you're not already! I've gotten a changing table http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/photo.php?pid=31531856&id=72201166 that matched our crib and dresser that we paid full price for! It's not the same brand or anything, but to me looks like it matches almost perfectly! That changing table is normally $150 and I found it for $50. Not only that I've gotten a co sleeper in next to brand new condition for $60 instead of $190 in stores. We've gotten our Baby Trend snap & go stroller w/ 2 Baby Trend car seats for $40 all together instead of about $300 in the store for all of that! And today's deal was finding the exact swing and bouncer I had wanted from Target! Got the bouncer for $20 ($45 in store) and the swing for $40 ($70 in store) http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/photo.php?pid=31593866&id=72201166

You just can't beat those deals! That's a savings of $445 right there for me! Everything has been in GREAT condition, most of it looks brand new!

  4. i have bought my entire nursery from craigslist. I ended up with matching cribs/changing table gliders and more from different ppl. People out there selling great stuff for cheap. I just rewash everything and sanitize it real well and save myself a boatload which im gonna need for the diapers. LOL i was feeling cheap im glad im not the only one doing CL. :clapping:

I LOVE CRAIGSLIST!!! we have found tonnes of deals. If you do your research and know your prices you can get some great stuff. Most of the baby things are barely used, especially if it was only used for one baby. Also something my mom and I have been doing is going to kids swap meets, where its all baby/kid clothes, toys, furniture and gear. We live in Canada and its a big thing here. Usually the prices are better than craigslist and you can always bargain a bit.

Yes, craigslist can be excellent! I recently bought a Medela Classic hospital-grade breastpump for $400!

I've found that anything that's specifically "twin" (i.e. the Double Snap & Go, & a Double Baby Bjorn) is a great deal on Craigslist... everything else, well, it's garage sale season in the rich neighborhoods! :p Some of these wealthy folks have no clue what they are selling: I've gotten tons of new- with tags on- baby clothing sets for $1 or less each. Most all of the boys clothes have come from Goodwill (again in the ritzy part of town) or at these garage sales. Ooh, the bouncy seats have been from sales, too. If I don't get some Bumpos from the shower I have next week, I will be scouting those out, as well.

Really the only thing I want new is their bedding sets, to match. Everything else is pretty much used, including cribs. I figure with me not working & us needing millions of diapers/wipes, we need to save the $$$. Plus, does a 1 month old care whether stuff is new or used?
