    Hiya Ladies!

I posted a couple of weeks back asking if we should go to my lo's cousins christening, well you all gave me the courage to try and i am SO glad that i listened to you all (was beyond nervous about meltdowns due to missing naps) The girls took everything in their stride and seemed to love all the people in the church..it was packed out, the new surroundings, the stories and listening to OTHER babies cry out - not mine though :faint:
They were up 3hrs before they even showed any hints of fussyness,it was a very long service with 3 others being christened and they sat through it all like the happy contented babies i see at home. I am just so amazed that they handled it so well because in the past they would just get hysterical, so at 4months i gave up on keeping them out passed their wakeful period.
I was worrying the whole time that they would flip out but they didn't, Ruby was on the verge of it by the time we were just leaving but she was easily distracted and no more tears were shed! Amber very nearly fell asleep in my arms on the way to the car and snoozed on the way back - i was adamant that my babies would not sleep anywhere but there cotbeds! What do i know i'm just their Mummy and obviously quite clueless
I've just fed them and put them down for a nap and they are still sleeping so all is well, we survived! We didn't stay for the party after because DF has to go to work  but the girls were up 4 hrs before they got some sleep so needless to say i am more than proud of my little baby girls for being so well behaved for us. They are teething terribly and Amber was sick this morning so i expected the worst and it has been a lovely surprise! I might not be so anxious next time we have to keep them up, they are little troopers! Sorry if i have bored you all but i promised to keep you guys informed and of course i needed to brag
