Couple Of ?'s about Sched during the day.

Hi,
I have a couple of questions about your daily Sched with your twins.

1.) Do you clean the toys up when you put them down for their nap?

(DH keeps telling to stop picking up becasue there is no need to since they are just going to mess it all back up once they get up. I usually pick up the toys fro the playroom and livingroom at naptime and right before bedtime.)

2.) When do you squeeze in your shower when they are down to one nap a day?

(Right now I've been putting them in their cribs for a "rest" time for 30 mins around 9:00 am so, I can shower. I get them up once I'm done because they are jumping around and playing.)

I only cleaned up toys at the end of the day when the girls are in bed. I work FT so I shower in the morning when DH is home still.

 

1. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If we're having a lazy day at home, not too much. But if we have plans to go out or have company over after nap then yes we do.

2. I am fortunate that my dh works second shift, so sometimes when he gets up I shower. If he's working day shift, I either get up before them and shower or do it during their nap. I think your method sounds like a good idea. :good:

 

I do the same as you do - I put them in around 9am to just 'play around' (and they do like it!) while I shower. I give them a milk sippy too sometimes in there (we have issues with drinking enough and they seem to do most of their drinking in there since there are no toys around to distract them!)

I am an obsessive cleaener though and clean all the time....So yes, during nap and after going bed

I usually do clean up all the toys during their nap because I'm anal and I can't stand a mess!! Plus I think they enjoy ripping everything apart again and it keeps them occupied.. Now that my boys are getting to one nap I put them in their high chairs in front of the TV for 20 minutes with a snack or something.. They usually watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...I don't let them watch really any tv during the day but it keeps them contained and occupied!
