Could this be something?

Okay, I've been on bedrest since Oct. 1 (25 weeks) for contractions (lots). Yesterday morning I woke up with terrible back, hip and rib pain, like someone was trying to pull me apart. When I sit down to pee, it feels like something is going to drop out! This morning I am experiencing some pretty major contractions that are accompanied with pain that is like menstrual cramps on steroids that wrap around from my back, and some even go down my right leg. These are the most intense I have felt so far.

As of Monday, I was not dilated, though at first my doc thought he felt some dilation then said, "Oh, nope. Still closed." I go back in to see him today at 1pm, but I'm just curious what some of you might think, based on your own experiences.

Can you tell I'm ready to have these babies??? My doc won't schedule my c-section until I start showing signs of going into labor--starting to dilate, water breaking, etc. or until I reach 38 weeks (which seems like forever from now, though only 2 1/2 weeks away).

 

Im not sure but i would tell your dr when you go in today sounds like somethings going on maybe they are wanting to be here for the holiday mommy !!

 

I am having the exact same thing today too! i have been on bedrest since 10/6 and have been dilated to 3cm since Sat with contractions, back pain on and off since then. I woke up with mega cramps and lots of mucusy discharge (tmi). I am hoping like you something will happen today! Good luck! Keep us posted on your progress!

It sounds like you're getting closer, hopefully when you go to the doctor he says you're dilating. :huh:
