Ok, so my older daughter did not start getting teeth until around 7 months, but it seems like Ethan may be getting one alreadyat oly 15weeks!!! His bottom gum has that little white spot on it, he likes having it rubbed, he id drooling like crazy and he is more fussy than usual... Could my little man be getting a tooth alreay?

My DS sprouted two white spots on his bottom gum 2 weeks ago and still no teeth. He is drooling and chewing like crazy, but it's hard to know if it's teething or just normal development. From what I have heard/read, it can take several weeks for the tooth to actually break through, we're still waiting.

Both of mine started teething at 2.5 months and one got his first at 5 months, the other didn't get his til 8 months! The beginning of it can start any time, it just sometimes takes a LONG TIME!

Thanks! I can't believe that he could be teething already! I am really hoping the fussy baby syndrome doesn't last long. I have been lucky with two great easy going babies and I really would hate for that to change!

My niece is 4 months and has started teething. No teeth yet though but lots of pain and other teething symptoms.

Totally could be a tooth. My James was early as well. He started the process around 12 weeks and his first tooth was clearly through by 20 weeks. Evan was three months later.

    It definitely could be teething.

Its funny, I wrote an almost identical post when the girls were like 3ish months old about my Meara... who will almost certainly celebrate her first birthday with NO teeth!

Yup, sounds like your little one is getting his first tooth. My girls started teething at 3 months - same symptons like your little boy....white spot, major drooling (one more than the other), fussy and a little redness on the gum. :D
