Could I have felt them?

I've been feeling the little slivery in your belly feeling for a few days now. I was really excited even though I HATE that feeling (feels like getting tickled from the inside) because I recognized it as the same movement I felt when I was pregnant with DD. I should love that feeling, but it makes it hard for me to sit still at my desk and work because I feel kind of squirmy.

Anyway, just now I SWEAR I felt a few little kicks. I have Ulcerative Colitis so I know I have lots of weird digestion things going on sometimes but I'm used to those and generally if I'm gassy I feel it moving in my belly. This was 3 quick little nudges in one spot. Could that have been one of the babies? They are only about 4-4.5 inches each but with two of them there maybe one is pressed against me enough for me to have felt it?

I felt mine about 12 weeks this time. I know what is feels like BTDT and didn't feel again for over a week. You baby was proabably doing flips. Yeah.

Woohoo! Now I have to tell my mother. I felt it once more too! She is a big believer in old wive's tales and wouldn't buy the yarn to start knitting blankets until I felt the babies move. Luckily she wants to use colors that match our stroller and they are neutral so not knowing the genders quite yet doesn't matter. :clapping:

Yup, I'm sure you felt them! Mine moved really early too and no one believed me. Of course, when we found out I was carrying twins the early movement made a little more sense.

Congrats, and tell your mom to get knitting!

I remember it feeling like "gas" at first ! I noticed it MUCH earlier with the twins than with my other pregnancies.

I swear that I started to feel mine at 13 weeks. It felt like little worms swirling around and slowly progressed to feeling like puppies ... or at least that was my impression of it!

It wasn't until the day I turned 21 weeks however that I was absolutely positive of feeling them move and I felt them every single day after that.

Felt them a few more times yesterday but not today yet. It's still early, but I'm finally really excited! Good too, because the general feeling of fear and nervousness was probably not good for me.

I had strange dreams about ultrasounds last night. I was at my 16 week ultrasound but they couldn't tell me the genders because that part of the babies hadn't developed and they still looked ambiguous like at 12 weeks. Weird, must be the excitement of maybe finding out next week!
