Couch and bed or 45 degree angle

    Is this what they call modified bedrest? I went for my appt which went well. No change cervix wise which is good but the babies A head dropped, which i mentioned the other day to my mom. He said lay low, take it easy- couch, bed. 45 degrees or lower to take the pressure off the cervix. is that bedrest?? he didnt say it...

    Sounds like modified bedrest to me.

    Yep, modifed bed rest. You can probably get up for short periods of time (fix a sandwich or glass of milk...etc), but no long shopping trips and try to rest reclined as much as possible.

    It gets hard on the back and tailbone so get lots of pillows. Dig out a deck of cards, some puzzle books, laptop, movies and just chill! :D

    Sounds like Modified Bedrest. Take it easy. Use this excuse to let other people take care of you!
