Costumes at Costco!

Our Costco has Halloween costumes right now for $9.99. They're all animals (giraffe, lion, bumblebee, etc., plus dinosaur and dragon). Sizes seem to be 6-12 month, 12-18 month, and 2-4T. Sarah is on the short side for her age (almost 3) and the 2-4T costume was a little snug on her, so they must run small.

Anyway, just a heads-up if you're looking for a nice general (not character-specific) costume. They probably aren't the highest quality, but they seem fine for the two wearings they're going to get. And Sarah is very excited about her giraffe. :)

For $9.99, not-so-good quality is fine with me! :good: Thanks for the info!

wonder if they're online, too? I'll have to check it out since I was thinking of maybe doing a lion & giraffe (Marty & Melman from Madagascar)

ohhh - I'll have to look this weekend! I'm very excited as the girls will walk as opposed to being in the stroller, and I have to look for costumes that won't inhibit them in anyway. and 9.99 is a great deal! thanks for the info!

Our Costco just had Super Heroes (Spider Man, Incredible Hulk, Red Power Ranger, and Iron Man). I picked up the Incredible Hulk for Ben for $19.99. (Well, he picked it out and I begrudgingly bought it!)

    couldn't find any online.... arg.

Alden, are they the thick, footed, hooded type costumes? Or are they lighter weight?

Sorry, I forgot to check back on this thread, but... they're somewhere in between. They are full-body with hoods, and they have padding on the tummy and butt to give the animal more of a cuddly look. But they don't have feet, and the fabric is fairly lightweight -- about the same as my "microfleece" jacket.
