I bought L&M bumble bee costumes at a consignment sale back this summer for $2.50! They are super nice zip up style. I went and bought black leggings and a black turtle neck. Super cute. But they refuse to wear the costume <_< I mean fall down in the floor and cry. They will hug it (it has a hoodie-head thing), but will not wear it.

I asked them what they wanted to be for Halloween, not thinking they would answer and they told me they wanted to be Pirate girls. Where on earth did they get that? So do I let them be pirate girls, any idea where I can get a pirate girl costume for at 2 year old??

Check cosutme express out. If nothing else, this will give you an idea of how to create your own. If you have a Party City or something similar in your area, they should have some stuff for you to use towards making your own, or the whole costume.

 That's the spirit! Two year olds who know what they want! LOL-girl pirates will be adorable! I think you can even use your black things you bought for the bumble bees and run with it!

 SAME thing happened here!! Seriously! I wanted princesses or a ladybug and bee, but they totally REFUSED! So I asked them what they wanted while shopping and let them pick. They picked Supergirl and Batgirl.   No idea what happened there. But they are hilarious. They've put them on twice now and zoom around in circles. I think it's cute that they picked them out themselves too...something to embarrass them with later. I've seen Pirate girl ( ) costumes everywhere, even Target in toddler sizes. You have to dig though. Or you could try online at buycostumes.com.

My son wants to be a pirate so he can say "RRRRR", no idea even where he heard this! (this is after he asked to be a witch for about a week:)
I got him a costume on ebay and then found an eye patch, bandana, and hook all at the dollar store near me. They also had pirate hats.
I think that is adorable, good luck!

I made one for my sis when she was little (except she was a pirate MAN with a 5 o'clock shadow courtesy of a mascara wand and everything). We just put her in a white turtle neck, black sweat pant I had cut a jagged bottom on, a peice of red cloth tied around her waist for a sash, and a store-bought sword and pirate hat and patch. Here is a pic:
