Is it really just like Enfamil Lipil?? If I decide to switch can I mix the 2 to make the transition easier? Or should I not mess up a good thing? The only reason I am interested in switching is to save a few bucks. Just started to buy formula and man is it expensive, I'm sure you all already know that ;) My boys go thru $30 worth in 5 days. Thank goodness I haven't had to buy diapers yet.

My pedi told me that due to the regulations thre is really very little difference in formulas, maybe a tiny change in this or that but nothing major. She said we could change if we would like, we too were on Enfamil. I went to BJ's with the intention of changing but then because I was nervous about jinxing a good thing (we had no problems at all with the formula), I decided to stick with the Enfamil but I did buy it at BJ's because I could get a larger can for a cheaper price than the regular stores.

We made the same switch and my kiddos had no problems. The Cotco here has both the store brand and the brand name so you could compare the labels to help put your mind at ease.

We use Sam;s club soy and the babies have been fine. Didn't switch until they were 6 months though.

I too use the Costo brand and we have had no issue except our wallet is fatter when we walk ouu the door. I can buy about a months worth for $100. I'll be soooo glad when they are off the formula.

I switched all my babies to the Costco/Kirkland brand at six months and they all did fine with it.... the cost savings is really a big help.

We switched from Similac to BJ's brand at 6 months and had NO problems. We did it slowly though over about 10 days. (i.e. 3 scoops Similac, 1 scoop BJ.s A few days later, 2 scoops of each. A few days later, 1 scoop Similac, 3 scoops BJ's. Then voila! All Bj's.) And yes, my wallet is so much happier!

I use Target, also an Enfamil copy and the babies have been on it since day 1. They've been fine. They actually spit up way more when I opened the little sample container of Enfamil. The 25.7 oz cans are around $11. I bought value sizes on sale for $13 (normally $15) and then this weekend they had them for $8 (clearance) ... I bought all they had left (another 8 cans), besides the dented ones. I felt so good :D . Saving so much money. My ped also says it's all the same. I actually think that most store brand formulas are made by just one or two manufacturers

All four of my girls have been on Costco brand since day 1. I asked my pediatrician if there was a difference between them and the name brands and he said "YES! PRICE!"
