Hi, my last post was for opinions on whether my boys look ID or not, well what makes me think they may be ID is that they both have very blue eyes still. By one month my older son had definite brown eyes as I thought all my kids would have. DH and I have brown eyes and his parents and siblings do and so do mine except for my mom and brother have green eyes. Anyway, I know its still a little to early to say they have blue eyes but they are getting bluer each day. I didn't even think it was possible to have a blue eye child so by both of them having blue eyes makes me think they must be ID. So I then found this website to see if it was even possible to have a blue eyed child and wa la.... it is! Check it out, http://museum.thetech.org/ugenetics/eyeCal...calculator.html
try copy and paste it. and post back what you think of it.

I have hazel brown and DH has blue. J&A were born with huge, bright blue eyes. Aaron's turned a pretty green at about 4 months. Jacob's remained blue. However at about 1 y/o, their eyes started to darken. Aaron's are now very army green, almost brown. It's really hard to determine his true eye color. Jacob's are a true hazel: honey and green mixed together.

So not to rain on your parade, but it's still too early to tell. Their eyes could still turn darker, ie shades of green or hazel.

Wow, that is interesting both DH and I have blue eyes, as do all 3 of our kids. And when I put in our parents it only came up with our kids could have have blue eyes.

Both my dad and I have hazel/multi-colored eyes with a ring of green, brown and grey. There is no option for hazel on the calculator :(....

Ok I tried this so many different ways but never got what I was looking for. DH has blue and I have blue/green. According to this all our kids would have blue eyes. Its kinda close, 5 of them have blue and 2 have brown. I have to keep reminding my DH that the brown eyed boys are defin. his LOL :icon_biggrin:
