My girls are getting really big, quick! My infant car seats have a 22 lb weight limit on them and one of my girls is already 16 pounds at almost 4 months old! My guess is that she will outgrow her infant seat in a few months. So, when did your LO's outgrow their infant car seat? What kind is the best from your experience? TIA for your advice!!

Mine both outgrew theirs by 6 months. We went to the Evenflo Triumph Advance. They loved them. They always fell asleep in them and rarely said a word. We have now moved those seats into DH's car and we bought 3 of the Britax Marathons so that they can ride forward facing in a 5-pt harness longer. You cant go wrong with either of those seats IMO.

We switched at 8 months b/c our LOs are long. We put them in Evenflow Triumph Advance and have been very happy with them :).

We haven't outgrown the infant seats yet (one baby is 16 pounds and one is 17 pounds), but we just bought the Evenflo Triumph Advance because we got a great deal on them at Target. They were on clearance from $140 to $97 and then we got a 10% discount for opening a Target credit account. They are an ugly brown color, but we couldn't beat the price.

We switched at 6 months because I was tired of the infant carseats and carrying them. We went with the Britax Marathon. I have the Britax regent for my oldest DD and I love that they can sit in a 5 point harness until 65 pounds (Marathon) and DD until 80 pounds!

For those of you that have the evenflo triumph, were you able to put them side by side in your vehicle? We have a suburban, but the two older girls have booster seats in the third seat and the middle seat is a 2 seat-1 seat and we have to put the 1-seat down for them to climb into the back. We had an evenflo triumph with one of our older daughters and i was planning on just getting another one, but not sure how they are going to fit into the car...any suggestions?

We have the Evenflo's side by side in a Tahoe so you should be able to do it.

We didn't grow out of the carriers until a year and then we got Cosco Alpha Omega Elites. We really like them and they go up to 50lbs as a convertible and then 100lbs for the booster.
