We will get our stimulas check next week and will be buying the convertable carseats with it. I am starting to do some research, but not sure which brand I should go with. I think I can get a good one that is $150 or so ($300 for two).

Here is my possilbe problem. We have a TrailBlazer. It fits the infant seats w/base and a booster (one that they just on). I need to be able to fit the new seats in it along with the booster....I am just not ready for Emily to go w/out it yet.

We have 2 of the Evenflo Triumph Advance. They are great seats, but they might too big to put a booster in the middle of the Trailblazer. I got mine at Babies R Us and they will let you put them in your SUV to see if they fit. If they do, I highly recommend them. They are great for the price and have a good safety rating. Good luck with your search.

I've heard great stuff about the Triumph and we love our Britax Marathons! You'll likely get a discount on the 2nd one, that's the good news!!

I got the Cosco Scenara, rated just as good as Britax but 1/4 of the price!

This site might help you decide! We have the Alpha Omega Elites. The only issue that I had, is that I couldn't take the covers off for washing without cutting the fabric a little. Once I figured that out though, the covers wash up like new.

Another Evenflo Triumph user here! They are quite wide though so I'm not sure about the booster in the middle

I didn't know BRU did that. I told DH so we will go this week to try some in the backseat. I need to get there anyways to get a net to go over the PNP so we can take the girls outside when we swim.

I want the Evenflo one, but not looking to good for it fitting in the car.

I did so much research on convertible car seats cause I just got DS one. I also did a couple posts on here asking people...

I decided on the Alpha Omega Elite.
Mostly because it can hold your child for a long time. Because DS is so tall and heavy, I was scared that he would grow out of his car seat before he was 4 years old (I'm sure he will be 40 lbs but he has to be both). And MOST convertible carseats only hold them up to 40 lbs.
The Alpha Omega holds them for 100 lbs and I believe 50 inches. So I know I would have to buy another car seat for him EVER. Just wait till you get the babies r us coupons and then go get them. They are I think $159.99 without tax...

I couldn't bring myself to spend $300 each on a car seat when the one I got is (in my opinion) better. Maybe I don't have as many color options but black and grey is fine with me!!

Also....I have a volkswagen Passat and it fits perfect. It takes up about the same amount of room as the infant carriers and base.
(I am also 5'9" and can still drive if it's behind me...

We have the Britax Marathons and own a Honda Pilot. We can fit an adult in between the 2 convertible car seats, but it can be a tight fit if the adult is pretty large. I'm not sure how big a booster seat is so I don't know if it would fit in between the 2 convertible car seats. We do like our Britax Marathons and they are very easy to clean. They also have so many different patterns to choose from.

I really love my Britax marathon but if you want something narrower the Sunshine kids Radian is also a nice seat, I had a few troubles with rear facing install since it is a tall seat but it is really narrow.
