Conversations with a 2.75-year old

    Trent this morning: I'm growing up and will be a mommy soon.
    Me: You think you'll be a mommy when you grow up?
    Trent: Yep, getting bigger. I'm almost a mommy.
    Me: I think it's more likely you'll be a daddy.
    Trent: OK, I go to work now... (walking to the door)

    Heehee!!

    I've had similar conversations with Nadia....she once told me that she didn't want to be a Daddy when she grows up, because it was "too hard." So, she decided to be a Mommy instead. :rolleyes:

    But, she does acknowledge that she's a little bit young right now, so...."maybe next year, after I turn 5!"

    DH told her that she needs to learn to wipe her own butt first, and then we'll talk. :lol:
