Conv. Carseats for two boys

This really is a silly question, but I may as well ask, right? I'm getting ready to purchase two convertible carseats (Britax Marathons). I was wondering if I should get two of the same fabric or get one for each boy. Would having a "designated" seat be better in the long run? I'm all about keeping things different but don't want my car to look crappy either.

Will having two the same mean fewer fights? Or does it even matter?

I'd get two exactly the same. Otherwise, it will be just like their toys where they both want the same one and fight about it.

 

I agree with pp. Same ones so they don't fight over them.

 

We have two of the same and we switch seats regularly. They don't have assigned seating in the car. I don't know why, since they are very possesive about every other place (high chairs, their little table and chairs inside the house, our picnic table outside).

 

We have b/g twins and have different seats. Ironically- they prefer sitting in the opposits seat!! I would go with the same if I had two of same sex.

 

I thought the same thing and have decided we will get the same. I have such a problem deciding who gets what! And I also figure that will avoid conflict in the future, as stated by pp.
