Contractions, what do they feel like?

I have been having little episodes of pain in my belly. Feels like someone is "ringing" out my belly like a wet wash cloth, if that makes sense. Only lasts a minute or so. I never had contractions with my first pregnancy until I was induced at 39 weeks. Comes on if I been really active. Plus I been really stressed.

Contractions are like really bad cramps...all the way around even to your back. You may want to talk to your doctor about this, at least call and talk to the nurse

 

My contractions feel like what you're talking about. And yes, mine also come when stressed, when I've been really active, when I'm dehydrated, when I have to pee, when a hat drops, etc...lol.

 

sounds like you may be having contractions. with my twins - I had an irritable uterus I swear ANYTHING - the slightest amount of stress, if I drank one drop less than the whole ocean of water, riding in the car - raising my arms, or voice - bending - anything!! some would kind of take my breath - others just felt tight - you should call your dr. there is no way for you to know if the contactions you are having (if that is what you are having) are doing anything to your cervix or not - just call and let them know what you are feeling!!
