I swear I still don't know how it happened. I just had a teeny tiny craving for sour cream and onion potato chips. My DH bought them at the grocery store yesterday (the big bag). Something happened today...I went and got the bag, brought it to my bed and now, there's nothing but crumbs left in the bottom of the bag!

How did that happen? I feel like such a bad mommy!

Danielle,'s lady. Don't feel like a bad mommy, it's not your fault... just tell yourself that the babies made you crave it and that's why you ate it. All jokes aside, there is no reason to feel bad. It's not like you eat a bag a day and that's the only thing you ate. Plus there are alot worse things you could eat then chips. I hope you enjoyed them, you deserved to!!

That's OK - I ate a half a can of Pringles, then an entire large Stouffers mac and chees, then went back and ate the rest of the can of Pringles.....
We can only eat like this when we are preggers so I say ENJOY (just not everyday :p )

A Triple Whopper.... with cheese.... And then asked for dessert! That was yesterday... I've got my eyes on some cheesecake today... That's after I just finished an entire bag of meatballs (I was going to make myself spaghetti and meatballs but never got beyond warming up the meatballs!). Off to find a fork... and yes, I'm on home restrictions with minimal activity... so it's not like I've been doing anything but growing munchkins and stuffing my face! :)

Mmmmm.... and I can't wait for the DH to get home. He's planning a lasagna night!

    Wow.... just... wow.... :)

I ate broccoli straight from the freezer bag with my previous pregnancy... so far the boys have been willing to wait for everything to actually be warmed up! :) Though I was looking longingly at some campbell's beef stew today... maybe a midnight snack, as long as I can warm it up first! :)

Good luck, ladies. There are times when the babies are not to be trusted when it comes to food! :)

I think I've got ya beat.
I've done the Chef Boyardee from a can, I've eaten whole bags of oreos in a day with a bowl of milk.

My new thing is a box of ding-dongs and two days.

I try but I do indulge.

    Oh well.

I couldn’t keep from chuckling a bit as I read this topic, especially as I’ve seen my wife consume quantities of food of dubious nutritional quality. Actually both of our diets have suffered during this pregnancy.

I just can’t resist a bit of playful poking … what’s with all the ‘we deserve it’ sentiments? Is it ‘we got pregnant so we deserve it’? Or is it ‘we’re suffering through being pregnant so we deserve it’? In an attempt to justify my own junk food consumption allow me to counter with the suggestion that us dads deserve to indulge as well, after all, we had to do all the thrusting. :tease:

So I'm not the only guy gaining weight...not that it makes it OK. I haven't seen my wife go over-board with anything and I still take bigger portions than her. Then again maybe she doesn't do it in front of me.

The guys crack me up! My husband has *definitely* gained weight, but he's in denial! As for me, I'd LOVE to give in to the cravings I have, but I can barely eat these days b/c I fill up so fast -- there's no room!!

My hubby has put on about 10lbs, and my dog has packed on about 3lbs. Both are finishing what I cant! LOL. He is always saying he is happy he has PT in the morning to help him burn all the calories.... Doesnt look like its working ;)

My hubby put on 10lbs too!! It all started when my morning sickness was realli bad back then, then when I had weird cravings like cheeseburger in the middle of the night, he ate double cheeseburger along with me, or Ben & Jerry 1 pint tub all at one sitting! My hubby don't have PT at any point of his day (or life!!) so that's definitely not helping! Hopefully the waking up in the middle of the night and having to juggle with 2 wailing babies can help him lose some of that weight!! :D :D

My hubby hasn't put any one..which is a freaking miracle judging by the sheer amount of Burger King we eat daily. I'm not really gaining either though...

I wish I could eat a whole bag of chips...my babies are so high nothing much fits in my stomach!

Hmm ... the other day it was almost a whole bag of Hershey's Bliss chocolate ... and an entire bag of those Cheetos Naturals ... YUM. Pregnancy does wierd things to you! With the twins it was 2 packs of Ramen noodles every dang day!! I worried but then looked and they actually have a lot of iron and folic acid, so maybe the babies really were craving it for that reason. Who knows!

And my DH also put on weight with the twins, about 15 pounds or so.
