    Hi everyone,

I'm 35w with mono-di twin girls. I've been doing twice weekly NST's with my OB since 32w. Yesterday was my 7th NST and up until now, both babies did great.

My OB says they passed the NST, but they just didn't behave as they have been for the last 6 NST's. I've gotten in the habit of bringing an orange juice with me and chugging it down right when they get me all hooked up to the machine. This gets the babies going every time and I get nice fetal movements with accelerations. Well yesterday the juice barely did anything. I did get some movements, but nothing like before. And many times both babies heart rates dipped after movements. The OB had me turn on my left side to eliminate the possibility of cord compressions and the same behavior continued.

I've been noticing a bit less movement than in the past - that started the day before the NST. When I counted today, Baby A did good with over 30 movements in an hour, but Baby B only had 19 in an hour. My OB said the minimum should be 20 in an hour. I put a call in to him, but waiting to hear back.

    Any advice or thoughts?

P.S. my c-section is scheduled for Monday, so only a few days left. I just don't want to ignore something that could be a problem though.

I don't have any advice, but sounds like you are on top of things. Hope they go well and babies are doing great.

It is normal to have decreased movement before you go into labour, so it could be that they are gearing up to make an enterance before monday. Good luck

Maybe they just have less room in there?

    Good luck!
