I am in so much pain I don't think I can do this anymore.

First of all I'm 5'7" and started out 110lbs, I'm now over 160lbs.
My Dr put my on Darvocet to take for my back pain when tylenol won't cut it, I have to take it all the time and it still doesn't cut it. My knee is giving out now. My meds for slowing contractions give me the worse headaches and my rib feels like its cracked or at least very bruised. I can't lay down for very long without my hips starting to throb with pain from my weight. I'm all congested now which drips down my throat and now I have a really really bad sore throat. My MIL asked me how I feel yesterday and I just started crying. I can't go to sleep because everything hurts me now. A couple weeks ago I was going to ask my dr to keep me on the brethene an extra week to keep the contractions away so I wouldn't go into labor until after 36 weeks he wanted to take me off at 35 weeks, but now I'm almost thinking of stoping them sooner. I've never felt this awful in my life.
To top it off my hormones made my back breakout so nasty and the zits itch so bad and have started to spread to my belly. Dh wants to pop them all the time which just makes me really mad and even more self-conscious about how I look. My only good news is that the only stretch marks I have are from 5/6 years ago from my son.

I'm sorry this was so long but I need to complain to someone who might get where I'm coming from. This sucks!!

I'm sorry you're feeling miserable, I suppose we all go through rough patches and yours just came at the very wrong time and at a severe level. Don't have any advice for you, but you're on our thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

I had this huge long reply but I lost my internet- thus the reply :( SO sorry you are feeling crappy!

I'd suggest buying 2-4 fluffy body pillows to sleep on top of for the hip/weight pain (it helped me be able to lie on each side from 10 minutes to about an hour), and maybe ask your Dr. about knee braces- your knee going out can cause cartilage damage to your knee.

Hoping you feel better before your babies are born!

You are doing so well! Almost there :D I wish I knew what to say.... I am scared reading your post because I feel pretty yucky at 17 weeks I can't imagine how much worse it is going to get! Lots of positive thoughts :grouphug:

    Thanks for the support.
Sorry sometimes I just have to let all this out. Anytime I complain to my MIL, who is the only person who is really around besides dh and my son, she just goes off about how she doesn't feel good so that kinda sucks.

I am sorry for all you're going through. I felt very much like you did--the last 2 months of my twin pregnancy were by far the worst of my life. Do whatever you need to feel better and I promise you, you will be rewarded very soon!!
