Coming home outfits

This past weekend dh and I went out looking for a matching outfit to bring the twins home in. We actually found 2, so we bought them both. The one outfit comes with a short and long sleeved onesie. September in GA can still be hot, it all depends. The short sleeved onesies are the ones I really want them to wear because the girl's says "Daddy loves Me" and the boys' says "Mommy loves me."

The outfits are so small compared to what I have been buying my dd.

i know it's hard to imagine them being so small, but you will be so surprised. i brought 2 long preemie jumpers for the girls to come home in and they were TOO BIG! we ended up taking their hospital pictures in those little wrap tops they put them in at the hospital and that's what we brought them home in. it kindof sucked that they didn't have pretty outfits on, but we were so lucky to have brought them home only 2 days after they were born, we didn't care what they were wearing.

The outfit sound adorable! Can't wait to see pictures.

I bought Newborn size and that was big on the girls.

 

We also bought 2 comming home outfits. One was a little dress and little short overalls. the other was ABC's on a onsie with I O(was a heart) U. Highlighted, with maching pants. One was blue the other was pink. We ended up with just the ABC shirts (it was 100+ degrees that day)

We have the "fancier" comming home outfits on Build-a-bears that my DD made before the babies were born.

 

What we wanted to bring the boys home in was WAY too big, so they were in cute baseball pjs and hats.

 

Sounds great. Mine went home in Dec in Florida and it was almost too warm for long sleeves.

We brought two outfits (both preemie) for their coming home outfits...however both were WAY too big. We used the one that wasn't as big Of course it didn't matter what they came home in...I was just SO excited that they were coming home.

I have one preemie outfit, and a few newborn outfits. My dd was born 2 weeks early and wore NB for a little bit, but she was over 7pounds and 20.5 inches long. The twins are measuring ahead and I hope and pray that I make it until my 38 week c-section date.
