I think I am going to beg my hubby for a Combi SBS. We tried it out at BRU today, and we both liked it. We currently have the Jeep SBS umbrella stroller, with no storage, crappy sunshades, no cupholders for kids... so I really like this Combi SBS. My questions are:

    1) Does it fit will through aisles and doorways? The reviews say yes, but it looks to be about the same size as my jeep stroller sbs, and I have a difficult time going down many clothing aisles at the mall, or looking through The Childrens Place. A lot of doorways are hard to maneuver through but we get through. Is it the same with the Combi?

    2) Is there an attachment for adult cupholders?

    3) How does the storage work for you? At least it has storage, where our Jeep SBS does not, I am just wondering would it fit a diaper bag?

    4) How are the sunshades?

    5) How old are your kids now, and how long do you think you'll be able to have them in the stroller?

I haven't had a hard time fitting through doorways. I don't try to fit down aisles that look too narrow. I love the sunshades on mine. Mine is an older model, though. It has the shades that come way down. Not sure if the new ones have those. I put the diaper bag across the handle. I also have hooks I bought to hold bags, etc. My girls are still little, but I would think I could use this stroller for quite a while. I don't have cupholders. I just use the one it comes with. It's more for a bottle of water or something. I wouldn't put a cup of coffee in there. I think there are universal cup holders you can buy. I love how lightweight this stroller is. It folds up easily too. I have a minivan and I just keep it standing up in the back.

I have the older model from last year. Mine does not have cup/snack holders and it's something I wish it had.

I have never had a problem getting through any doors; it's tight but it does fit (including The Children's Place). The only store I have issues with is Kohl's but I have problems with any stroller in that store. The Combi will fit through the front door but the aisles are tight.

The baskets are small and to be honest I really don't use them that much. I have the Skip Hop Duo Double Diaper Bag which is made for sbs strollers so it hangs off the handle.

My boys are almost 21 months and I'm finding it harder to push as they get older. Combined they weigh about 52lbs. It was my only stroller for the past year and I've noticed the wheels are starting to wear down. I notice you live in Texas so you won't have an issue with snow. During the winter months in Chicago, it was really difficult to push through the slushy parking lots.

The sun shades are ok but they lock in place so you can move them in front of them when the sun is right in their face.

Last month I bought the Baby Trend double jogging stroller from BRU. It's a much smoother ride and a lot easier to push. The main issue I am having is that it does not fit through some doors so I have to think before we go out and if we are going somewhere (like Burlington Coat Factory) I will use the Combi instead.

The Baby Trend is now my main stroller esp. if we are outside.

Overall the Combi is a good stroller for the price.

    1. Yes, it does fit in doorways/aisles. The only store I've had a problem with fitting in aisles is at Kohl's because they put their things way to close to one another and I have problems just walking through some parts of that store.

    2. I do not know if there is an attachment for cups. I would check amazon.

    3. Personally, the storage is enough for us. :good: It holds enough for our outtings.

    4. They are okay... could be better, could be worse. I do think they have a sunshade you can buy if needed.

    5. My kids are 3 years, 4 months and we still use it when we go to amusement parks or the zoo. :good: And it's still in pretty good shape!

    1) It is the same size as the SBS umbrella I was using before. I have to aim correctly for doorways, but it goes through them all. DH has no problem with this and I get stuck all the time. I don't take it to the mall or a dept store alone because it won't fit through the clothes racks (or they are close enough to grab at everything). If there's two of us, one of us stays in the main aisle with them while the other shops. I have a DuoGlider and this is the only reason I've kept it.

    2) Mine doesn't have any cupholders for the kids or adults. I've never looked for an attachment but am hoping someone else posts one. It would be a nice addition.

    3) I have a diaper bag that hooks on the handles and rarely use the baskets. It is two smaller baskets rather than one big one. Unless you have a small diaper bag it probably will not fit.

    4) I have no issues with the sunshades and love that they lock down. The boys just push the ones on the DuoGlider back themselves.

    5) Mine are 22 months and just over 25 lbs each. This stroller pushes so much better than the SBS umbrella we had. I hope I don't have to buy another stroller. (Well, maybe a jogger, but that would be for actual jogging not running around town.)

I think 90% of SBS strollers have the same width (same as wheelchairs). So they fit through most doors, but a lot of stores will be a pain because they don't make alleys so wheelchairs fit through them... but you'll have the problem with every SBS stroller really. I can't go to Children's Place, Target is a pain as times as well as most department stores and Kohls.

Everyone has pretty much summed up everything already, just wanted to comment on the adult cupholder-
I bought one from Buy Buy Baby, its just a cup holder that attaches on and it works well...it could fit 2 cupholders if needed as well.I think we bought the valco one...we tried another one before but the handlebar was too fat for it, I can check tomorrow if you want to know what kind it is.
We havent tried a universal snack/cup holder parent attachment, but they might work?
We have the newer model of the stroller so it has cup/snack holders for the kids...which is awesome!

I agree, everyone has summed up everything pretty well. But yea, clothing aisles are going to be a tight fit in any stroller. When I had the duoglider it was a pain steering around the corners and now we just don't fit with the combi (in some places.) We went to Gymboree last weekend and honestly, somebody with a regular sized stroller would have had problems in there. The way the front was set up, we couldn't even really get into the store.
