Colds

ok, my two are driving me insane! DH brought a bad cold home, and first ds got it, he has been coughing/hacking/sneezing for about 8 days so far (its getting better, but still not great), and just 3 days ago dd got it. I use to have such happy, well-rested babies, and now they fight naps, wake-up in the middle of the night multiple times, fuss and whine all day, fight eating solid foods, are distracted while nursing..and on and on.
We had a great schedule going - wake up each day at 645am, 3 naps (2 of which were 1 1/2 hrs long) and bedtime of 530pm - and all of that has now gone to crap! Tell me it gets better???!!

 

At 8 weeks my dd got a cold. SHe never slept through the night again!! They totally mess up your schedule. I hope you are able to get it back! Get better soon! :hug:

 

Everytime anyone gets sick in my house it ruins our setup but we always get back to normal :hug:

 

:hug: I hope they feel better soon. Yes, we have nightwaking with colds and it's hard. But they usually just get back on schedule and then catch another cold. ardon:

 

Yeah our schedule got messed up but seems to be getting back to normal..so yes it does get better!!

Mine have had their first cold for the past two weeks. They just started sleeping through the night again three nights ago. Things seem to be getting better now, but it has been a long haul.

 

Yes, we are experiencing our second cold and it disrupts night sleep and nap. The past couple of days, they have not napped at the same time, which is driving me crazy.
