My boys are a bit stuffy, too, but I don't think it's a common cold. More like we live in a house with forced air heat and all the particles that are in the air find their way into our system. We, adults, older kids have no problem getting rid of these particles, blowing our noses. Our little ones however cannot do all these, so they get stuffed up.

I suck their noses almost every day and get some mucus out of their nostrils

Maybe they just have runny noses, that happens to my girls when there is a big weather change.

It's just that time of year. I would use the baby saline drops for their noses, the dreaded nose sucker and also run a cool mist humidifier to keep them comfortable with runny noses. Mine also get runny noses when they teethe.

Get a cool mist humidifier (the kind with visible mist). I have the same problems (waking up with stuffed nose, more than my kids really) and it helps a lot.

They could still get colds from airborne germs if they are out in public or any one comes over to your house.

Whenever my LOs have had colds, it was very obvious. Lots of sneezing and runny noses and it came on suddenly. It wasn't just a stuffy nose. I hope it's not a cold!

Could be just a stuffy nose or it could be a cold. Honestly, short of putting them in a bubble, there isn't much way to avoid getting a cold here & there and it will help to build their immune systems. Saline nose drops & a humidifier should help. Hopefully, they will be back to normal soon.
