I thought Lorien was just teething but the boogers are a bit thicker today and a little yellowy. This morning, Arwen woke up crying and was all stuffy and guess what??!! Yep, she's all dripy too. UGHHHH I'm disgusted. I feel really bad too because my girlfriend and her son were suppose to come over for the day and now I have to tell her that my girls are sick. Not only am I bummed about not having the company (I am alone with just the girls almost every day) but she has no air conditioning in her house and it's suppose to 92 degrees today but feel like 104 and I wanted her to be here so she and her son (the same age as my girls) could be in a air conditioned environment. This totally sucks. :cray: :cray: :cray:

Bummer Melanie! Summertime colds are no fun. Hope they are feeling better soon.

I hope they both start feeling better soon. :hug99: I agree, nothing is worse than TWO sick babies.

    Melanie,
We have them too. Hopefully it won't last too long. <_<

Looks like we are in the same boat.... Jackson was coughing and sneezing all night and his nose is running nonstop today. I'm sure Chloe won't be far behind to catch his cold. I'm with you.... I thought we only had to deal with this during the winter????

On a funny note, this reminds me of a scene from the Robin Williams movie "License to Wed" where they had to carry around the twin robot dolls for their marriage class...... both of them had snot pouring out of their noses. That scene just really hit home and I laughed so hard it hurt! :rotflmbo:

We are also dealing with the same thing. Regan and Tessa both have snot pouring out of their noses. I think we have had maybe two days in the last few months where we didn't have to wipe their noses all day. Does it ever stop? One of the pathologists that I work with said that "the noses stop when the mouth starts running". If so, I can't wait for them to start talking more!

I personally feel your pain, DH and I went out for 3 hours on friday, babies were fine when we left, sick when we got home. 3 days later I have it, my oldest son has it and my aunt (the babysitter on friday) has it  it is driving me crazy!!!

Yep, we just got over the same thing, and Sarah's nose always runs for like three weeks after a cold, too, just enough time for them to get the next bug that comes along.

Oh yeah, there's a whole separate group of cold viruses that prefer the summer! Sarah has a cold now (as do I).

Hope they are feeling better soon!! Mine had summer colds as well!!

I read an article that said the average child gets up to 6 colds a year.
