Thank you all for your concern. No new updates yet, I go back to my doctor on Friday. My iron levels were down more last Friday though which explains why I am so exhausted. All these new pills seem to be working as I have finally stopped bleeding! :woohoo: Down side to this is that they have side effects such as sea sickness feeling and headaches :(

As bex said slept for 18hrs between 3pm yesterday afternoon and this morning, already ready for bed. Have to work tomorrow which is going to be very hard. I just want this all to be over, there is only so much one person can take and I am way past that. :(

Again, thank you all for your concern

Glad you have stopped bleeding, now on to making all the side effects go away, and you feeling more energized. One thing at a time though, right?! So it seems, you are one step closer to being better.

I start b12 injections tomorrow as the mix of low iron and low b12 is causing me to feel so horrid. my doctor thinks this will help, she knew it was bad but wanted to get the bleeding sorted first. basically the plan now is to use drugs to stop my period indefinitely. then if the time comes that i choose to have kids they'll work something out.

See my gp tomorrow who will be making me an appointment with an endocrinologist as the pills the gyno has given me are causing all day lasting side effects and I feel crappy enough without feeling sea sick. And DAMN them b12 shots hurt so bad, I had it Monday and my arm is still sore.

    Welcome back Tamara!

I have now developed post traumatic stress disorder. Which my doctor is shocked that it has taken this long. She was expecting me to crumble weeks ago under all the stress. I am done, emotional is an understatement. On valium for a week until i see her next to try and sleep properly, took it 4hrs ago- wide awake, reorganised my whole bedroom including all my clothes and uni stuff. I am dropping uni down to two classes as it is to much work to handle at the moment and have been ruled out of work for two weeks to be evaluated again then. :(

Oh, Codie. :( It is no wonder you're feeling overwhelmed. What a mess. :grouphug:

I hope you're able to relax a bit with the help of the valium. Please let us know how you're doing. We're here to listen.

As of this morning I have taken a leave of absence from uni for the remainder of the semester. This basically gives me until August to work through things I have going on. My doctor is very concerned as I am struggling to get through the day and slipping into a depression. I can't handle uni so this is for the best as it will take so much stress off. Work has told me to take as much time as I need off and my job will be there for when I return. Kind of feel like a faliure for not being able to handle it all.

    Codie.

I had to take a leave of absence from college when I was 19 due to a ruptured disc in my back that I had to have surgery for. It was difficult to take the leave at first - friends, my dorm, all the excitement of college traded in on a surgery and home - but it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I returned to school 7 months later, pain free and healthy, and enjoyed every remaining minute of college!

Hang in there, you have to take care of yourself.

:grouphug: Codie. The most important thing for you to do right now is to take care of yourself. You are not a failure for not handling it all. You have a lot on your plate! Keep us posted and take care!

Grr over the last few weeks i have been spotting all day and bleeding on and off. it has gotten worse over the weekend. I have realised stress triggers it. My sister had a doctors appointment with my doctor yesterday and told her and the receptionist called me yesterday afternoon i now have an appointment Friday afternoon. i am exhausted again, slept until 9am yesterday morning, had a nap from 1pm-6pm ( slept talked to the receptionist during this time) then was asleep by 9pm-8am. Not happy! Beyond over this and i have to go fill up my car and drive 30minutes away to see my dietitan. Sadly I can't change the appointment again as i had to change it last week. :(

I called the practice this morning to see if i could change my appointment to today as its getting worse and is painful. i could get in for a non appointment to get scripts to try and help, then back to her tomorrow as she doesn't want it to turn into a full on bleeding episode like last time. :(

Five days of tranexamic acid and primolut again. hopefully it helps this time!

It helped, yeah for a whole 10hrs if that. I seen my doctor Monday afternoon and it had stopped that morning, the appointment was at 2:45 by the time I got down home to my parents house two hours away it had started again. I was meant to stop the tranexamic acid and primolut on Tuesday but kept taking it as I started bleeding again, cramping heaverly and have had giant migraines. Called this morning (she doesn't work Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and she has no idea what else to do, she said to allow her to scratch her head, talk to the gyno and get back to me tomorrow. :headbang:
