Hi! Just an informal poll: How long did your twins sleep together in the same crib before you needed to separate them?

    Thanks!

5 months. They started kicking each other and hitting each other a lot in their sleep and it seemed to bother them. They actually shared a co-sleeper. They never shared a crib.

about 4 - 5 months. Once they started rolling we separated them at night. I still let them nap together for awhile longer.

We moved them out of the same PNP at night around 3 months. :)

We cosleep still and they're 10 months old. :) That's in my bed though, and I think you're talking about the crib only.

I do cobed them in one crib for naps and they have to be on separate sides of the crib. I've noticed they sleep deeper at night so they like to snuggle together and it's not disruptive. For naps, they sleep lighter and wake each other easily, so they need more space.

My two were still in the same crib when I moved them to their big kid beds at just over 2 years. Now, they have their own beds, but most often I still find them in the same bed.

we didn't do cosleeping at all until the boys were about 9 months old. because of reflux issues they slept in bouncy chairs until just a few months ago. when we tried to transition owen to the crib he had a hard time soothing himself at first, and seemed to feel more comfortable with his brother next to him. so we went from sleeping separately in 2 cribs to sleeping side by side in one crib. they're happy, so we don't mess with it.

Ours shared a crib until they were 6 months old. They were getting too big to share one, so we separated them into their own rooms.

Same here, exactly. I put a tightly rolled up blanket between them for a while.

    Hi Erin!
We had ours sleeping together in the bassinet in our room for the first 7 weeks. Then, I noticed the weight limit was 15 pounds, but they were born at 14 pounds. That day I was like, "We can't let them sleep in here anymore because they are well exceeding the weight limit." We just moved them to their bedroom and put them in their separate cribs. They didn't even seem to notice they didn't have their buddy. I like it better because they aren't accidentally hitting and scratching each other anymore. It's been 3 weeks, and it's going well:) GL!

Mine are 5 months and still sharing a crib, but using a crib divider just the last week because they are rolling around in bed now. They are getting too long for just half the crib already, so as soon as we get their room done we'll be seperating them into 2 cribs, but putting them side by side.

Mine are 6 1/2 months and are still sharing a crib. We've had a couple incidents where they have rotated and one will wake up and be kicking the other's face, but when we tried to separate them (not even separate cribs, just opposite ends), it was a disaster--the worst night of sleep EVER--in fact, I'm not sure you could call it sleep. They don't reliably roll over in their sleep (yet), once they do that, we'll probably try separating them again. They seem to be comforted by each other's presence though.

About an hour. We call one of our boys "Wiggles" for a very good reason!

My boys still sleep together in a co-sleeper. They sleep swaddled and in boppy's and don't roll over yet.

My boys slept in bouncey chairs/swings/car seats until 4 months when we started the transition to cribs. We had mini cribs so they each went into their own. From about 2-3 months they napped in the PNP together.

Mine still share a crib but they are still swaddled mostly... we are trying to wean from it and are currently 1 arm free. But they aren't rolling over from back to belly yet and are still mostly stationary. I figure once they are swaddle free and rolling i figure that we will have to seprate them..
