I just decided to get more organized with the girls' clothes b/c they are now in different sizes (our peanut is still in 3-6 and our bear is in 6-9 or 6-12) and it is hard to get them dressed quickly and efficiently. I bought an over the door shoe organizer and placed an undershirt, outfit and socks in each section and divided it in half for each of them.

    Hope that helps someone :D

That's a good idea for socks too!! Socks are the bane of my existence!! I hate socks! (Sorry for the mini rant) But that's a good idea!! Thanks!

We use the over the door shoe organizer in our hall closet and our laundry room to hold all kind of things. They are a great organizer!

That is a great idea! I use one also for shoes, hair bows, socks, and tights. I like the outfit idea though. No searching...just grab and go!

What a great idea, thanks for sharing it. I'll pass this hint along to my DD. She needs more storage and organization ideas but has very little space so this will be something she can do. I can just imagine how much easier it will be for her than finding the right size in the drawers when one needs to be changed, etc.

    Great!

That is such a great idea. I actually went on freecycle and asked if anyone had one they did not need. I got a hit and my hubby is going to pick it up tomorrow.

My kids have a small room and not a lot of storage. This will be great for socks, tights, slippers and such.

    I am so excited.

    Thanks.

Now if only someone had a way to make the room bigger. :)

    good answers!

I am actually wondering something similar, I am having boy/girl and I am trying to find out an easy way or system for the clothes for my boy/girl twins to be born in march.

I have a 3 drawer dresser and on the right side it has another drawer (skinnier) and a cabinet underneith)

as of now, I have the preemies clothes in the top drawer, as I don't have that many, they fit, I just have 3 piles in there, girl, boy, mixed.

then the 2nd drawer has the boy clothes 0-3 months and the 3rd drawer girl 0-3. I'll move them up as they kids grow....I also have at least 5 or 6 outfits for each downstairs, in the baskets of my changing table as well as hats and socks.

    we'll see if that works...
