We think these migth help the girls know they are wet because they aren't really identifing when they are wet. What kind do you use and how well are they working for you?

We have them but haven't used them yet. They are Gerber brand and I found them at Target.

We've got the gerber ones too. I like them as they are more absorbant thatn regular underpants. How well are they working? Hard to say. I don't blame the training pants for the fact that my boys have been slow to interest in potty training. At three years and three months we still are in diapers quite a lot. We make a more soon to wear "underpants" all day long--but they will probably be mostly these training pants.

I used the Gerber ones with my old DD, but waited until she was using the potty the majority of the time. At that point, she would go just a little and could stop and come run and tell me she needed to go. These panties were so thick that it wouldn't leak out like the thin ones. They worked great. Good Luck!

We did not need to use them for Hannah (the threat of peeing on Cinderella [panties] was enough for her to avoid accidents). I have a pack for Ben and I did use them that first week. He would dribble a tad and it was absorbant enough not to catch those first few drops. But after a week or so, it was regular underwear for him too.

We use the gerber ones (purchased at Wal-Mart). Audrey uses them occasionally. We're not quite there though.

we didn't use true cloth trainers with the boys. We did use the thick undies from Gerber though. I wish I had another brand available, like something with a waffle weave in the crotch, but they worked fine. We didn't use anything like vinyl pants or anything. That's part of why I didn't go with cloth trainers, I didn't want PUL. I didn't mind changing wet clothes though.

I used the cotton and the aio trainers from www.snap-ez.com . I loved them and recommend them all the time. :) Unlike the gerber ones, they were thick enough to hold an accident without leaking on the floor and the AIO ones were good for naps. I also had a few plastic diaper covers to put over the cotton trainers if we were leaving the house. The girls loved the prints as well.

There are often gently used ones available in the trainers section at diaperswappers.com as well.
