closet in the nursery

ladies...
does anyone have a photo of their closet for the twins showing how you organized it? I'm trying to make the best of a small closet and am heading to The Container Store and IKEA later this week. Any help is appreciated...I don't really know where to start and I don't want the sales staff trying to send me home with all kinds of ridiculous stuff I don't need!! haha

I didn't actually do that but I thought about it!

You don't need much! Get a crib, you can use a short dresser as a changing table so it's all in one station, maybe a shelf or two....as long as you have a place for some clothes, and extra diapers, you are good to go!

We're really tight on space, too. We have a 29-inch-wide 4-drawer dresser for the boys, plus half a closet (the upper half is the linen cupboard; it's right outside the bathroom). In that closet I have one of those hanging closet canvas organizer (bought it new for $5 at my MOTC consignment sale ), and next to that is the bath stuff and baby grooming kit/meds and stuff. Our crib also has a drawer underneath that we'll use for bedding.

 

the twins bedroom is only about ten by ten so we got the two cribs and a really tall dresser and just stuck everything in there. it seems my apratment has become some sort of halfway home for family members' clothing... the walk in closet we have in the nursery is filled with my mother, cousin, and cousin's son's clothes. we have decided to move it all to the basement which will flood in 4 months to teach them a lesson about making sure they have enough space for their crap. the big clothing move starts saturday.

 

All three of the kids share a double closet in a small room. These pictures are from when I was pregnant with my first baby. It's a lot more full these days! The black boxes are from Ikea. My husband built the cubbies to fit the boxes. I painted them with chalkboard paint.
