He is only 17 months and not ready for a toddler bed. What do I do? Im scared to sleep at night since he woke me up at 4:00 this morning by running into my room!!

Yikes! What about putting his mattress on the floor and a gate at his door (although I guess he could climb that too!).

 

I would recommend a crib tent. They can be a little pricey but for me they were worth every penny in sanity! You can also sell them for a large percentage of cost on ebay when finished with it.

 

I'd get a crib tent. One of my daughters is climbing already, and she has one on her crib. I found the best price to be on Walmart.com.

 

My DD has gotten out 3 times and she hits the floor and starts screaming. It freaks me out and I know she's going to hurt herself.

She actually did this twice yesterday, so I called the crib manufacturer. They claim that nobody her age has reported getting out of the crib. Anyway, we had to lower her mattress basically to the toddler bed height. She's not getting out anymore, but I may pull my back out trying to get her out! See how much lower you can get that mattress. If nothing works, we were going to get a crib tent even though we have heard from other people that they can undo the velcro.
