I posted here about how were going to let Ellie CIO this weekend because the other 2 would be gone. Well, last night didn't go so well and it was all our fault! We had lunch at noon, then Ellie napped from 1-3. About 3:30 we headed down the street for the neighborhood block party. We ate about 4 and offered Ellie food; she didn't want any. Later she got all crabby and cranky, wanting up and down and just not happy. So DH took her home. After they left I looked at my watch. It was 7:00 and the light bulb flashed on...Ellie was hungry! I decided not to run home to tell Dh to feed Ellie, I thought he could figure it out himself. I came home at 9 and asked if he fed the baby. Well, she was saying milk and juice so he tried those, but she didn't want those and fell asleep within 20 minutes after they got home. So when she woke up at midnight I felt I had to give her a cup of milk. It'd not her fault she's hungry if we forgot to feed her!! LOL Then she woke up at 6:30. DH got up with her, fed her something. I woke up because at 8:30 she was crying in her booster seat, so we snuggled and in 5n minutes she was asleep. She's had regular meals today, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so with Joey alseep in Annie's bed (I hope that works out) Ellie WILL CIO tonight! My fingers are crossed!!
Last night went pretty well. SHe fell asleep on the way home from MIL's house, but woke up about 9:30 when we got her out of the car. I gave her some milk and she was back to bed by 10. At 11 she woke up screaming, like a scared scream. After listening to it for 20 minutes I went and got her. She snuggled in and was asleep in 10 minutes. I put her down after the news was over and she woke up. But I let her go back to sleep. Only took a few minutes. I woke up at 5 when DH's alarm went off, surprised she ahdn't been up yet. Well, by 5:15 she was up crying. But I closed my door and let her be. It was just crying, not the scared cry of earlier that evening. I went in to get her up at 9:20 (when DD2 woke up) and she was just laying there sucking her thumb. I consider it a success for last night. I hope tonight goes as well!
