CIO first night

Well, I survived my first night of CIO. DH did all the work and I stayed in bed all night!DS cried himself to sleep for about 30min. DD fussed a little but she likes her thumb so she self soothes. DS woke up once and fussed back to sleep. It was like ten minutes max and DD woke up once but would not be soothed with a binkie (she usually is) so DH brought her in for some feeding (she was very hungry) and back to her crib she went where she put herself back down to sleep We shall see how tonight goes and how the rest of the naps go today. DH was so great and supportive....DD is laughing in her sleep right now How cute!...I don't think I could have done it without him. I see hope of a full night sleep coming soon!

 

Yeah- Amazing how different you feel after sleep!

 

Yay! I'm glad the babies are adapting so well.

 

I know it's hard. Hang in there though and you'll soon see it pay off.

I agree and it is soooo worth it in the end. I wake up with a smile now simply because I've had a good stretch of sleep. Who knew several hours in a row would one day make us so happy?

 

How wonderful! And isn't it great to see that they wake up happy and still love you afterwards! That was my fear with CIO, but what it's done is make my boys even happier because they're getting so much sleep.
